How to start your career pathway
Students can work with their counselor to review their interest inventory from the EXPLORE test they take as an 8th grader, and begin to develop their personal learning plan. Students also have access to Career Connections, a web based career exploration resource.
As a freshman or sophomore, students will take an introductory course or courses to determine which Pathway they want to pursue as a junior.
They will then work with their counselor to enroll in an introductory course.
Criterion to be considered for admission include:
- Sophomore or junior year status
- EXPLORE test taken as an 8th grader or Asset, Compass, or ACT Test;
- GPA of 2.0 or better
- Ten absences or less
- Good record of behavior
- 2 references
